Ramón Galán I thought that it would be good to tell the story of my life as a student in the Dominican Republic, and of my relationship with my schoolmates. This is a story that fills me with nostalgia and happiness, because even if I live in New York now, I feel certain that if I returned to the Dominican Republic I would be welcomed warmly. Seeing these images and retelling this story required a lot of courage, but I want to see how others react to and form an opinion about how I have lovingly expressed my history
