Interactive Digital Art
and Animation Closing Celebration

Internet, robotics, programing and animation technology selection

In the closing edition of Fluid v2, the producers decided to make their curatorial choice based on the material received on the open calls.

Fluid sent out three different open calls for artists, and for the last presentation we focused more on the interactive digital art and animation pieces we received .

We believe that in New Media, programing, robotics, internet, audio, and visual technology come together to produce a multimedia piece. A piece that has many different skills combined. The use of technology and modification of such is what we were looking at for the closing event

We were also looking an animation selection that reflects different techniques and tendencies from around the world.

The Audiovisual Art portion is a combinations of work meant to work with the environment in which Fluid was taking place.

Performances were invited artist to make live presentations of Music or Video Mix

Fluid is a new media movement that focuses on the potential of emerging audiovisual artists, without consideration of genre or where they come from.

Fluid, in its second edition, made an open call to collect audiovisual pieces and ideas to be presented at El Museo del Barrio, Local Project, Queens Museum of Art, and the 3rd Ward Moviehouse.
